All 67 D.C. Crash Victims Recovered
All however one of many stays have been positively recognized.

All 67 victims have now been recovered after Wednesday’s midair aircraft collision between an Military Black Hawk helicopter and PSA Airways CRJ-700 jet over the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.
Based on a Tuesday afternoon post on social media by the D.C. Fireplace and EMS Division, 66 of the stays have been positively recognized. A plethora of army and federal rescue businesses have been retrieving our bodies from the river for practically every week now.
“The Workplace of the Chief Medical Examiner continues its work to make sure the dignified identification of stays and help the households by means of this course of,” the submit said. “Our hearts are with the victims’ households as they navigate this tragic loss. We prolong our deepest condolences and stay dedicated to supporting them by means of this troublesome time.”
The submit said that whereas all victims have been recognized, salvage operations will proceed for any extra stays. After Wednesday, operations will shift to recovering wreckage from the crashed Black Hawk helicopter.
On Monday night, President Donald Trump spoke with American Airways CEO Robert Isom and mentioned he was dedicated to growing aviation security, according to a report by CNN. Trump has mentioned DEI hiring practices were to blame for the crash that killed 64 civilians and three Military servicemembers.
